The Institute of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences, University of Pécs plays a key role in the EuPRAXIA Doctoral Network (EuPRAXIA-DN) programme, which is funded by the European Union and develops a new generation of particle accelerators based on plasma-based acceleration technologies. The international consortium aims to facilitate breakthroughs in electron acceleration by fostering more compact, efficient and versatile research infrastructures, opening up new opportunities in a wide range of disciplines and industrial applications.
